How can you help iBiology as a volunteer?
OUTREACH
- Send an email to your friends, colleagues, student and postdoc groups, or departments at your institution to let them know about why you love iBiology and how they can use our resources. Contact us via email and we’ll be happy to provide you with an email template you can use.
- Share on social media. Like or follow iBiology on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ and share our posts and tweets with your networks!
- Sign up to our weekly newsletter to stay up to date with the latest iBiology videos and events. Encourage your friends and colleagues to sign-up as well!
- Tell people about iBiology. Give a short talk about iBiology using our template slides and script. You can use 5-10 minutes during a talk or give a short presentation to introduce people to iBiology, our mission and how they can use our resources. Contact us via email and we’ll be happy to provide you with template slides, a script and additional information you can use.
SUBTITLING
iBiology wants to make science and scientists accessible to more people around the world. To further this goal we add subtitles in English and other languages to as many talks as possible. As an Ambassador you can help us transcribe or revise English subtitles or translate transcripts of English subtitles into languages other than English.
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out this questionnaire.
If you have questions, contact Mónica Feliú-Mójer, our Science Outreach Program Manager.
