Dr. Zheng studied biology as an undergraduate in China before moving to Ohio State University to do her PhD. She did a post-doc at the University of California, San Francisco where she began many years of research on cell division. Currently, Zheng is a Staff Member in the Department of Embryology at the Carnegie Institution of Science, an HHMI Investigator and an adjunct professor at the Johns Hopkins University.
