Samuel Brinton is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Stand with Science and the National Science Policy Group. Stand with Science is a campaign to support federal funding for science and engineering research. The National Science Policy Group is an organization that connects and supports student science policy groups on school campuses across the country. Brinton recently completed a dual Master’s degree program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying nuclear engineering as well as technology policy issues. He currently serves on the American Nuclear Society Board of Directors and continues to be a vocal advocate for a variety of causes, including nuclear weapon disarmament, ending brutality against the LGBT community, and the support of federal and state science and engineering research funding.
