Dr. Summers is a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UMBC and a long-time supporter of the Meyerhoff Scholars Program. His lab uses NMR to study the structure of HIV proteins. Undergraduate students, including many Meyerhoff Scholars, have been key contributors to his research.
