Martin Jinek received his PhD in Elena Conti’s lab at EMBL. He performed postdoctoral work at UC Berkeley with Jennifer Doudna. He is now an Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Zurich, where his lab studies protein-RNA interactions that regulate cellular function.
