Jan Ellenberg is Head of the Cell Biology and Biophysics Unit and Coordinator of the Center for Molecular and Cellular Imaging at the EMBL, Heidelberg. His lab uses advanced fluorescence microscopy techniques to understand the mechanisms underlying nuclear organization during mitosis and meiosis.
