Talk Overview
In this talk, Jaime Fraser and Mike Eisen discuss the connection between baseball statistics and biology. Although they work in different areas of computational biology, both Jaime Fraser and Mike Eisen are convinced that a lifelong love of baseball statistics has significantly influenced their research.

James Fraser
James Fraser is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences and the California Institute of Quantitative Biosciences (QB3) at the University of California, San Francisco and a Blue Jays fan. He uses computational and biophysical methods to study protein-protein interactions. Continue Reading
Michael Eisen
Michael Eisen is an HHMI Investigator and UC Berkeley faculty member. His lab studies how genome sequences regulate gene expression in Drosophila. Eisen is also one of the founders of PLoS and, most importantly, a Red Sox fan. Continue Reading
