Milind Watve is Professor of Biology at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Pune. Through most of his career he has been teaching undergraduate students. His research spans a broad range of topics, determined by student interest, with evolutionary biology being a general theme. Watve has written numerous articles and books on science for the popular press, as well as publishing widely in the scientific literature.
